Dedicated to the master violinist from Cefalù, Salvatore Cicero, who died prematurely, the Municipal Theatre of Cefalù is remembered as the set of the Oscar-winning film by Bagheri director Giuseppe Tornatore ‘Nuovo Cinema Paradiso’.

Built in 1818, the Teatro Comunale Salvatore Cicero is a precious gem of artistic and cultural value, with a structure that, despite modifications over time, remains perfectly preserved.

The theatre encompasses two centuries of history, art and culture, representing the emblem of a town that has been the backdrop for numerous productions film productions.
